If your wedding is outdoors and there isn’t an indoor back-up in case of bad weather, get a tent. If it turns out the weather is perfect and you don’t need it, then don’t put it up. Or, still use the tent as a beautiful and shaded canopy for dinner. But if a storm comes through and soaks your beautiful dinner tables, you’ll wish you had a plan B.
Also in case of weather, think of your guests. Have parasols, sun glasses and plenty of water available if it’s hot and sunny during the ceremony, and blankets or wraps and warm drinks for when temps drop in the evening. Your guests will remember how thoughtful and comfortable you made them feel….you definitely don’t want them leaving because they were cold or couldn’t find a place to sit.
